We work with all the music services across North Wales to inspire the musicians of the future through holding interactive workshops led by our industry professionals. In the summer of 2023 we were able to invite participants from our Schools Instrumental Project to perform a specially commissioned piece of music at the North Wales International Music Festival side-by-side with NEW Sinfonia.

As a parent, I think it was a fantastic chance to play in an orchestra and it has really inspired my son Henry as a young musician.’

- Charlotte Beynon

Every year we invite musicians and conductors from the RNCM to play side-by-side with NEW Sinfonia and to conduct the ensemble in a concert series which brings iconic repertoire to North Wales. Through our close relationship with the conservatoire, we have been able to grant opportunities to many rising stars embarking on a career in the arts.

Our magical musical adventure story Slumbersaurus is, for many children, their first experience of classical music. Slumersaurus and his musical friends have adventured all over North Wales and have even featured as a part of the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod’s 2023 programme where over 1000 children joined us for an unforgettable adventure!

We are also proud to collaborate with Cardiff International Conducting Academy, providing young conductors with the experience of leading our highly skilled musicians and training from our principal conductor Robert Guy as well as other renowned conductors.
