Since 2010 they have been lead by Musical Director Leigh Mason who has lead the choir to competition success in the Isle of Man, the Derry International Choral Festival and swept the board at the 2017 Cornwall International Male Voice Choir Competition.

Llay Welfare Brass Band

Llay Welfare band is a descendant of the Gresford Colliery Band. The group still holds a close association with its roots as a miners band. They are lead by Musical Director Mark Drakeford and their recent appearances include Wychavon Contest, Euro Brass, and Buxton Entertainment Contest.

Clywedog Steel Pans

The Clywedog Steel Pans are a young group of musicians from Ysgol Clywedog who are known for their lively and innovative performances. They have performed at the Llangollen International Eisteddfod and have even appeared on ITV Wales news where they were praised for their high standard and professionalism.
