NEW Sinfonia present a day filled with fantastic chamber music performed by musicians from the orchestra. Chamber music is a genre of classical music performed by smaller groups of musicians in more intimate surroundings, making it very engaging experience for everyone listening. The Chamber Music Day Extravaganza will feature 2 concerts in 1 day.

 

Concert 2 – Diverso String Quartet @ 7.30pm

Concert 2 features the award winning Diverso String Quartet comprised of young and ambitious musicians Marcin Ostrowski, Dagmara Foryś (violins), Magdalena Krawczuk (viola) and Zofia Łodygowska (cello). The quartet are currently studying on the Chamber Music Masters programme at the Universitaet der Kuenste in Berlin under the tutelage of the famous Artemis Quartet as well as on the International Artist Diploma programme at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.

All concerts throughout the day will be FREE to enter. Donations will be taken at the end of each performance to support the running of the day.

Refreshments will be served all day in the Church Lounge. A selection of teas, coffees and delicious cakes will be available.
